- Why does this bug exist? After my cat tried some human food, he became very food crazy so that if I leave something out and turn my back for a minute, he would have snatched it and run off with it. He has done this several times with items such as bread, popcorn, chicken, etc.

- Why does this bug exist? I usually would text a person, but if I call them, it usually is for a purpose, so if someone has no response, it delays plans.
- When I need my computer, and it is dead
- Why does this bug exist? If my computer is dead and I don’t have my computer charger, it prevents me from using the computer outside of my apartment where I leave my charger.
I found this assignment to be difficult to do because I am not used to clearly identifying my bugs like this. I found it hard to remember and identify the bug but not why it had bugged me. I think it was interesting to look at the list and try to find similarities between bugs. There are so many little things that are out of our control in everyday life, I think it is easy to be bugged but also choose not to let it affect your entire day.
Hi Chaplin,
ReplyDeleteI like your organization for the post using numbers and indentation, it made it easy to read and understand. I also found it challenging to come up with bugs, its just something that we don't usually pay attention to. I definitely agree that it's better to not overthink the things we have no control over. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Chaplin,
ReplyDeleteI liked that how you were able to make your problems individual to you, rather than general. I struggled to come up with so many bugs as well, and it was difficult to differentiate between why there was a bug from why something bugs you. I think it is natural for people to be so distracted by what is bothering them, they do not take the time to consider why, and this exercise was helpful in changing that mindset. Thanks for your insight!
Hello Chaplin!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was unique how you picked such unique bugs that in a way described your personality. For example, I was able to relate to your Taco Bell bug on such a high level. There is nothing that irks me more than ordering Uber eats and my driver not coming with the key to my meal. There were also items on your list that I didn't even know bugged other people because it even happens to them! I always forget items on my grocery list that I grab on a normal basis and it bothers me so much because I get the same items every week and I just don't know why I can never grab all the items in one trip.
Chaplin,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us! I really thought you did a great job of coming up with some unique "bugs" that we often forget about. I think we all struggled a bit in the beginning of this assignment to come up with the things that bug us because, like you said, we never really think about those things. I really like that you stated in your reflection how there are so many things that are out of our control and this list of bugs goes to show that.
